Abstract

U ovome radu ispitivani su čimbenici koji utječu na degradaciju gelova za tuširanje različitih formulacija. Uzorci su termostatirani na temperaturama od 2 °C, 25 °C i 40 °C u periodu od 5 tjedana kako bi se odredio utjecaj temperature i vrijeme starenja proizvoda na viskoznost, pH vrijednost, organoleptička svojstva, površinsku napetost te na učinkovitost samog proizvoda. Uzorci su pripremani u tvrtki MAGDIS d.o.o., dok su se ispitivanja stabilnosti odvijala u tvrtki NEVA d.o.o. i na Fakultetu kemijskog inženjerstva i tehnologije Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Rezultati ispitivanja pokazali su da tijekom 5 tjedana ne dolazi do značajne degradacije gelova za tuširanje što ukazuje na njihovu dobru stabilnost u temperaturnom intervalu od 2 °C do 40 °C. Također, ustanovljen je trend porasta viskoznosti u periodu stabilizacije u formulacijama koje sadrže NaCl, a u svim proizvodima ustanovljen je proporcionalni odnos promjene viskoznosti s promjenom temperature što je karakteristično za sustave s hidrofobnim zgušnjivačima. Metodom određivanja površinske napetosti dokazana je dobra učinkovitost vlaženja svih formulacija.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, factors influencing degradation of shower gels of different formulations were investigated. Samples were thermostated at 2 °C, 25 °C and 40 °C for 5 weeks to determine the effect of temperature and aging effect of the product on viscosity, pH value, organoleptic properties, surface tension and the effectiveness of the product itself. Samples were prepared in MAGDIS d.o.o., while stability tests were examined in NEVA d.o.o. and at Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. Test results showed that there is no significant degradation of shower gels in 5 weeks, which indicates their good stability in the temperature range from 2 ° C to 40 ° C. Also, a trend of increasing viscosity was noticed during stabilization period in formulations containing NaCl. Proportional relationship of viscosity change with temperature change was found in all products which is characteristic for hydrophobic thickeners. Method of determining surface tension has proven good wetting efficiency of all formulations.
