Abstract

Organski spojevi su spojevi ugljika (osim ugljikova monoksida i dioksida te metalnih cijanida, koje proučava anorganska kemija) koji imaju odlučujuću ulogu i važnost za život na Zemlji, od njih su građeni svi organizmi, hrana potrebna za održanje života i tvari za osnovne ljudske potrebe poput odjeće i goriva. U ovom je radu prikazan pregled nastanka našeg Sunčevog sustava, fizikalnih i kemijskih svojstava planeta, posebno njihovih atmosfera. Također, opisani su organski spojevi, metan, etan, etilen i acetilen, koji su u većoj ili manjoj mjeri prisutni u atmosferi Saturnovog prirodnog satelita, Titana. Utvrđene su sličnosti i razlike u kemijskim i fizikalnim svojstvima ovih organskih spojeva na Zemlji i na Titanu.

Abstract (english)

Organic compounds are chemical compounds that contain carbon, with the exception of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and metal cyanides, which are studied as a part of inorganic chemistry. These compounds have a decisive role and are of great importance for life on Earth. They form all living organisms, food that's required for maintaining life and materials used for satisfying basic human needs, such as clothes and fuel. This paper provides an overview of the origin of our Solar system, the physical and chemical properties of planets, especially their atmospheres. Organic compounds, methane, ethane, ethylene and acetylene, which are more or less present in the atmosphere of Saturn's natural satellite, Titan, are also described. Similarities and differences in the chemical and physical properties of these organic compounds on Earth and on Titan have been identified.
