Abstract

Svrha ovog rada je opisati dobivanje električne energije iz geotermalnih izvora topline s naglaskom na organski Rankineov ciklus. Ovaj rad daje odgovore na pitanja odakle Zemlji toplinska energija te koji geološki procesi utječu na to zašto je geotermalni potencijal nekih geografskih regija veći u odnosu na druge geografske regije. Također je priložen status iskorištavanja geotermalne energije za dobivanje električne energije u svijetu i Republici Hrvatskoj. Priložen je opis vrsta geotermalnih elektrana i pobliže je proučeno binarno postrojenje s ORC-om te koji se sve zahtjevi moraju ispuniti kako bi se jedno takvo postrojenje moglo ostvariti. Završni rad uključuje termodinamičku, ekološku i sigurnosnu analizu organskih radnih medija u dva slučaja. Prvi slučaj se odnosi na promjenu maksimalnog tlaka u ORC-u pri konstantnoj maksimalnoj temperaturi, pri čemu je uočeno kako pregrijavanje suhih i izentropskih radnih medija nije potrebno. Drugi slučaj se bavi promjenom maksimalne temperature u ORC-u pri konstantnom maksimalnom tlaku, gdje se uočava porast neto rada, ali ne dolazi do bitnije promjene termodinamičkog stupnja iskorištenja.

Abstract (english)

The purpose of this paper is to describe the production of electricity from geothermal heat sources with emphasis on the organic Rankine cycle. This paper provides answers to the questions of where the Earth gets its heat energy from, and which geological processes affect why the geothermal potential of some geographical regions is higher compared to others. The status of the use of geothermal energy for obtaining electricity in the world and in the Republic of Croatia is also attached. A description of the types of geothermal power plants is given and the binary plant with ORC is studied in more detail and what all requirements must be met in order for such a plant to be realized. The final work includes thermodynamic, ecological and safety analysis of organic working fluids in two cases. The first case concerns the change of the maximum pressure in the ORC at a constant maximum temperature, where it was observed that overheating of dry and isentropic working media is not necessary. The second case deals with the change of the maximum temperature in the ORC at a constant maximum pressure, where an increase in net work is observed, but there is no significant change in the thermodynamic efficiency.
