Abstract

Cilj ovog rada jest ispitivanje mogućnosti nanošenja tankih manganitnih prevlaka iz otopine uz naknadnu kristalizaciju žarenjem te u kombinaciji žarenja i intenzivne pulsirajuće svjetlosti (engl. Intense pulsed light, IPL). Provedena je sinteza lantanovog manganita (LaMnO3) limunskim postupkom s množinskim omjerima limunske kiseline i metala 2:1 i 3:1. Kao izvor metalnih kationa korišten je lantanov(III) oksid (La2O3) i manganov(II) nitrat tetrahidrat (Mn(NO3)2·4H2O). Zbog velikog potencijala ovako pripremljenih tankih filmova za upotrebu u perovskitnim solarnim ćelijama, ispitano je kako uvjeti priprave i nanošenja utječu na homogenost i kristalnost prevlake. Morfološke karakteristike pripremljenih uzoraka tankih filmova određene su pretražnim elektronskim mikroskopom. Za identifikaciju različitih faza korištena je rendgenska difrakcijska analiza za mali upadni kut. Daljnja istraživanja usmjerena su na ispitivanje optičkih svojstava. Optička transmitancija i reflektancija izmjerene su UV-Vis spektroskopijom. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da je film s najvećim udjelom LaMnO3 faze pripravljen iz otopine u kojoj je množinski omjer limunske kiseline i metalnih kationa 3:1, na staklu debljine 1/8 inča i žaren na temperaturi od 800 °C. Optički procjep je određen filmove izabrane na temelju SEM analize, a vrijednosti za sve izabrane filmove su podjednake i iznose ~ 1,4 eV.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this study is to examine the possibility of applying thin manganite coatings from the solution with subsequent crystallization by annealing and in combination with annealing and intense pulsating light (IPL). Synthesis of lanthanum manganite (LaMnO3) was carried out by citric acid method, using citric acid and metal molar ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. Lanthanum(III) oxide (La2O3) and manganese(II) nitrate tetrahydrate (Mn(NO3)2·4H2O) were used as a source of metal cations. Due to the high potential of prepared thin films for use in perovskite solar cells, it was examined how the conditions of preparation and application affect the homogeneity and crystallinity of the coating. The morphological characteristics of the prepared samples were determined by a scanning electron microscope. Grazing incidence X-ray diffraction analysis was used to identify different phases. Further research is focused on testing optical properties. Optical transmitance and reflectance were measured by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The obtained results show that the film with the best properties is the one prepared from a solution with the molar ratio of citric acid to metal cations 3:1, on glass with a thickness of 1/8 inch and annealed at a temperature of 800 °C. The optical gap was determined by the films selected on the basis of SEM analysis, and the values for all selected films are equal and amount to ~ 1.4 eV.
