Abstract

Zbog svojih svojstava, polimerni materijali imaju brojne primjene te omogućuju napredak u mnogim granama ljudske djelatnosti. Celuloza je jedan od prirodnih polimera koji je bioobnovljiv i biorazgradljiv te pridonosi zaštiti okoliša, na što se u današnje vrijeme stavlja veliki naglasak. Iz celuloze se različitim postupcima dobiva nanoceluloza. Nanoceluloza je materijal koji je postao popularan zbog svojih dobrih svojstava i mogućnosti primjene. Odlikuje je mala veličina čestica te velika površina kao i razgradljivost, obnovljivost te ekološka prihvatljivost. Polimerni kompoziti s nanocelulozom predstavljaju posebnu grupu polimernih kompozita koja se razvija u novije vrijeme. Ovi kompozitni materijali pokazuju brojna poboljšana svojstva u odnosu na čisti polimerni materijal bez nanoceluloznog punila. U radu su opisane vrste polimernih kompozita s nanocelulozom te njihova svojstva i prednosti.

Abstract (english)

Polymeric materials, due to their various properties, have many applications and allow progress in many fields of human activity. Cellulose is one of the natural polymers that is biorenewable, biodegradable and contributes to environmental protection, which is being important today. Nanocellulose is obtained by various processes of cellulose treatment. Nanocelulose is a material that has become popular because of its good properties and various possibility of application. It is characterized by a small particle size and a large surface area as well as degradability, renewability and ecological acceptability. Polymer composites with nanocellulose represent a special group of polymeric composites that is developing more recently. These composite materials exhibit numerous improved properties over pure polymeric material without a nanocellulose filler. This work describes the types of polymer composites with nanocellulose, their properties and advantages.
