Abstract

Napredak tehnologije mora biti praćen preciznošću proizvodnje. Nanotehnologija je idući korak u evoluciji proizvodnje gdje se na svojstva materijala utječe na atomskoj razini. Istraživanja o nanočesticama pridonijela otkrivanju brojnih metoda za pripravu nanočestica od kojih je za industrijsku proizvodnju potrebno izdvojiti najbolje s obzirom na ljudske, ekološke i ekonomske faktore. Ablacija iskrom je primjeren kandidat za omogućavanje napretka s obzirom na prethodno navedene faktore. U ovom radu objašnjeni su neki od osnovnih pojmova vezanih za nanotehnologiju poput klasifikacije i svojstava nanočestica, metoda pripreme te načine primjene nanočestica. Uz to objašnjeni su pojmovi vezani za fizikalnu pozadinu i princip rada ablacije iskrom. Kao glavni dio rada dizajniran je sustava za generiranje i nanošenje nanočestica u obliku tankih filmova na supstrat. Sustav se sastoji od tri dijela: dobave i pripreme plina nosioca, ablatora i izlaza plina i čestica. U tri poglavalja prolazi se detaljno kroz dijelove sustava i moguće modifikacije u vidu opreme. Izvedivost je provjerena neoptimiziranim nanošenjem nanočestica titanija na supstrat.

Abstract (english)

Advances in technology must be accompanied by precision of production. Nanotechnology is the next step in the evolution of materials where the properties of the produced surfaces are influenced at the atomic level. Research on nanoparticles have contributed to the discovery of numerous methods for the generation of nanoparticles, the best of which for industrial production need to be singled out with regard to human, environmental and economic factors. Spark ablation method is a good candidate for ensuring the upgrade with respect to the aforementioned factors. This paper explains some of the basic concepts related to nanotechnology such as the classification and properties of nanoparticles, methods of preparation and methods of application of nanoparticles. In addition, the terms related to the physical background and the principle of spark ablation are explained. As the main part of the paper, a system for generating and applying nanoparticles in the form of thin films on the substrate was designed. The system consists of three parts: supply and preparation of carrier gas, ablator and gas and particle outlet. Three chapters go through in detail the parts of the system and possible modifications in the form of equipment. Feasibility was verified by unoptimized deposition of titanium nanoparticles onto the substrate.
