Abstract

U cilju optimizacije koraka u pripravi derivata skvareinske kiseline provedena je sinteza simetričnih skvareinskih sustava. Prvi korak sinteze uključuje reakciju aminacije aril-halogenida i amina, koja je uspješno provedena uz n-BuLi u bezvodnom eteru. Nadalje, prevođenje metoksi skupina u hidroksi skupine na benzenskoj jezgri uz BBr3 dobiven je dihidroksi-N,N-diizobutilanilin (3). Kondenzacijom N,N-dialkilanilinskih spojeva i skvareinskog prstena dobiveni su simetrični skvareinski derivati 5 i 6. Svi produkti su izolirani i u potpunosti spektroskopski okarakterizirani.

Abstract (english)

In order to optimize the steps in the preparation of squaric acid derivatives, the synthesis of symmetric squaric systems were performed. The first step of the synthesis involves the amination reaction of aryl halides and amines, which was successfully carried out with n-BuLi in anhydrous ether. Further conversion to hydroxy groups using BBr3 reagent formed dihydroxy-N,N-diisobutylaniline(3). The condensation of N,N-dialkylaniline compounds and the squarine ring gave symmetric squarine derivatives 5 and 6. All products were isolated and fully spectroscopically characterized.
