Abstract

Polisiloksani su svestrani materijali od kojih mnogi imaju izvrsna kemijska, fizička i električna svojstva. Cilj ovog rada bio je pripremiti i okarakterizirati neke polisiloksanske gelove. Gelovi su pripremljeni reakcijom poli(dimetil-siloksan) diglicidil etera s odabranim alifatskim diaminima: etilendiaminom (EDA), dietilentriaminom (DETA), trietilentetraminom (TETA) i 1,3-diamino-2-propanolom (DAP). Svi diamini reagiraju s PDMS-DGE i tvore čvrste i fleksibilne prozirne bezbojne gelove. Svojstva dobivenih gelova ovise o strukturi diamina. Prividno najčvršći gel je dobiven u reakciji s DAP-om, a najmanju prividnu čvrstoću ima gel dobiven s EDA-om. Gelovi su bili karakterizirani ATR-FTIR spektroskopijom, Raman spektroskopijom i diferencijalnom pretražnom kalorimetrijom (DSC). Iz dobivenih ATR-FTIR spektara vidljivo je da broj izreagiranih amino skupina ovisi o korištenom diaminu - više diamina izreagiralo je u PDMS-DGE gelovima s DETA-om i TETA-om, nego u gelovima dobivenim u reakciji s EDA-om i DAP-om. Raman spektri pokazuju da u svim gelovima postoje neizreagirane epoksi skupine u koncentraciji koja ovisi o upotrijebljenom aminu.

Abstract (english)

Polysiloxanes are versatile materials, many having excellent chemical, physical, and electrical properties. The aim of this study was to prepare and characterize some polysiloxane gels. Gels were prepared by reaction of diglycidyl ether terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) with selected aliphatic diamines: ethylenediamine (EDA), diethylentriamine (DETA), triethylentetramine (TETA) and 1,3-diamino-2-propanol (DAP). All diamines reacted with PDMS-DGE and produced firm and flexible transparent colorless gels. The properties of gels depended on the structure of a particular diamine. The gel prepared with DAP was apparently the firmest and gel prepared with EDA was the softest. Gels were characterized using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). From the ATR-FTIR spectra it is apparent that the number of reacted amino groups depends of used diamine - more diamine reacted with PDMS-DGE in gels with DETA and TETA than in gels obtained by reaction with EDA and DAP. In all of the obtained gels Raman spectra revealed unreacted epoxy groups in cencetration that depended on amine type.
