Abstract

U ovom radu istraživala se raspodjela vremena zadržavanja u tri različite cijevi (ravnoj cijevi, cijevi sa staklenim kuglicama te spiralnoj cijevi) koje opisuju hidrodinamiku strujanja u različitim tipovima cijevnih reaktora. Raspodjelu vremena zadržavanja potrebno je odrediti kako bi se na osnovu nje moglo utvrditi odstupanje promatranog sustava od idealnog strujanja. Eksperimentalni podaci dobiveni su unošenjem trasera koji predstavlja impulsni poremećaj u sustav te mjerenjem odziva na impulsni poremećaj. Obradom eksperimentalnih podataka dobivene su različite vrijednosti vremena zadržavanja i disperzijskog broja u trima cijevima. Rezultati su pokazali kako se dodatkom manjeg volumena trasera ostvaruje idealni impulsni poremećaj te manja disperzija. Pri najmanjem protoku disperzija je najveća dok se ona smanjuje povećanjem protoka. Brzina strujanja u cijevima, dužina cijevi, geometrijski oblik cijevi, volumen trasera te preciznost izvođenja eksperimenta ključni su faktori koji utječu na rezultate

Abstract (english)

In this work the distribution of residence time in three different tubes (flat tube, glass tube and spiral tube) that describe the hydrodynamics of flow in different types of tubular reactors were explored. The distribution of the dwell time must be determined in order to determine the deviation of the observed system from the ideal flow. Experimental data were obtained by inserting a tracer representing impulse disturbance into the system and measuring the response to impulse disturbance. The processing of experimental data yielded different values of residence time and dispersion number in the three tubes. The results showed that the addition of a smaller tracer volume produces an ideal impulse disturbance and a smaller dispersion. At the lowest flow rate, the dispersion is highest while it is decreasing as the flow rate increases. The flow velocity in the tubes, the length of the tubes, the geometric shape of the tubes, the volume of the tracer, and the precision of the experiment are the key factors that influence the results.
