Abstract
Naizgled možda posve apstraktni pojmovi vektora i vektorskog prostora u svakodnevnom su životu zapravo poprilično primjenjivi i ne toliko strani. Jedina je stvar u tome što se koriste kao nešto što se podrazumijeva, ne razmišljajući kako iza svega stoji pomno razrađena i posve logična matematička osnova. Vektori su svuda oko nas, bilo da je riječ o brzini ili možda sili, koje se svakodnevno primjenjuju i toliko su važne. U ovom će se radu govoriti o matematičkoj osnovi vektora, operacijama koje je moguće s njima izvesti, ali i o primjeni vektora u svakodnevnom životu i životu jednog inženjera.
Abstract (english)
The seemingly completely abstract notion of vector and vector space in everyday life are actually applicable and not so foreign. The only thing is that they are used as a matter of course, without thinking of the thoroughly elaborated and entirely logical mathematical basis behind it. Vectors are all around us, whether it is a velocity or perhaps force, which are applied on a daily basis and are so important. This work will discuss the mathematical basis of vectors, the operations which can be performed with them, as well as the application of vectors in the daily life and life of an engineer.vectors, vector space, operations with vectors, application of vectors in the daily life and life of an engineer.
