Naizgled možda posve apstraktni pojmovi vektora i vektorskog prostora u svakodnevnom su životu zapravo poprilično primjenjivi i ne toliko strani. Jedina je stvar u tome što se koriste kao nešto što se podrazumijeva, ne razmišljajući kako iza svega stoji pomno razrađena i posve logična matematička osnova. The seemingly completely abstract notion of vector and vector space in everyday life are actually applicable and not so foreign.
