Abstract

Voda je jedan od glavnih uvjeta za život. U prirodi se nalazi u ograničenim količinama. Emisijom različitih onečišćujućih tvari smanjuje se količina i kvaliteta vode, a onečišćenje vode predstavlja ozbiljan problem za ljude, ali i biljni i životinjski svijet. U ovom radu čitatelj će biti upoznat s time što je točno onečišćenje, kako onečišćujuće tvari dospijevaju u vode te kako se dijeli onečišćenje vode. Nadalje, se govori o zaštiti voda tj. zakonskim regulativama i strategijama na razini Europske Unije i Republike Hrvatske. Definirano je što su to prioritetne tvari u vodi i kakvu one opasnost predstavljaju te kao se ispituje njihova toksičnost pomoću različitih testova toksičnosti.

Abstract (english)

Water is one of the main conditions of life. It is found in limited quantities in nature. The emission of various pollution reduces the quantity and quality of water, and water pollution is a serious problem for humans, but also for flora and fauna. In this paper, the reader will be introduced to what exactly pollution is, how pollutants get into water, and how water pollution is shared. Further we are talking about water protection i.e. about legal regulations and strategies at the level of the European Union and the Republic of Croatia. It is defined by what these priority substances are in water and what danger they present as their toxicity is examined using various toxicity tests.
