Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je odrediti raspodjelu vremena zadržavanja u modelnim cijevima. Eksperiment se provodio injektiranjem dva volumena trasera (1 mL i 0,5 mL) u tri različite cijevi, praznu cijev, cijev ispunjenu kuglicama i spiralnu cijev pri tri različita protoka. Za traser se koristila vodena otopina kalijevog klorida. Mjerenjem koncentracije trasera na izlasku iz cijevi, dobivene su krivulje raspodjele vremena zadržavanja i izračunata su srednja vremena zadržavanja i disperzijske značajke. U konačnici su uspoređeni rezultati u sve tri cijevi te je opisano odstupanje od idealnog strujanja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this work is to determine the distribution of residence time in model tubes. The experiment was performed by injecting two volumes of tracer (1 mL and 0,5 mL) into three different tubes, an empty tube, a tube filled with glass beads, and a spiral tube with three different flow rates. An aqueous solution of potassium chloride was used as the tracer. By measuring the concentration of the tracer at the exit of the tube, the residence time distribution curves were determined. The mean residence times and dispersion characteristics were also calculated. Finally, the results in all three tubes were compared and the deviation from the ideal flow is described.
