Abstract

Ravnoteža para-kapljevina u sustavu aceton(1) – cikloheksan(2) određena je pri atmosferskom tlaku primjenom Hunsmannove metode. Dobiveni fazni dijagram upućuje na azeotrop s minimumom vrelišta. Eksperimentalni podaci su prema Van Nessovu testu konzistentnosti nekonzistentni. Usporedbom eksperimentalnih podataka s podacima drugih autora vidi se odstupanje: udio cikloheksana u parnoj fazi je veći, a u kapljevitoj fazi manji kod eksperimentalnih podataka. Podaci su korelirani s parametrima modela koeficijenta aktivnosti Wilson, NRTL i UNIQUAC. Parametri u modelima su temperaturno ovisni, a kod modela NRTL fiksirana je vrijednost parametra neslučajnosti, α12 = 0,3. Funkcija cilja je kriterij kojim se provjerava koji model koeficijenta aktivnosti najbolje opisuje sustav. U ovom slučaju je to model NRTL koji ima najnižu vrijednost funkcije cilja.

Abstract (english)

Vapor-liquid equilibrium data of the acetone(1) – cyclohexane(2) system have been determined at atmospheric pressure, using Hunsmann's method. The resulting phase diagram is an azeotrope with a minimum boiling point. Experimental data are inconsistent according to the Van Ness consistency test. A comparison of the experimental data with the data of other authors shows a deviation: the share of cyclohexane in the vapor phase is higher, and in the liquid phase it is lower in the experimental data. Data were correlated with parameters obtained by Wilson, NRTL, and UNIQUAC activity coefficient models. The parameters in the models are temperature dependent, and in the NRTL model the value of the non-randomness parameter is fixed, α12 = 0.3. The objective function is a criterion to determine which activity coefficient model best describes the system. In this case, it is the NRTL model with the lowest objective function value.
