Abstract

U sklopu ovog rada provedena je sinteza dva derivata skvareinske kiseline, kroz nekoliko koraka. U prvom stupnju provedena je reakcija aminacije uz 4-benzilpiperidin kao sekundarni amin i 1-brom-3,5-dimetoksibenzen. Sljedeći korak odnosio se na demetiliranje tercijarnog amina u svrhu dobivanja alkohola 2 i 3, koji je reakcijom kondenzacije uz prisutnost skvareinske kiseline preveden u željeni heteroaromatski derivat skvareinske kiseline 4 i 5. Osim sinteze ciljanih produkata, provedeno je niz reakcija alkiliranja furfurilamina u cilju dobivanja pogodnog sekundarnog amina za moguću buduću sintezu skvareina. Reakcije su provedene pri različitim eksperimentalnim uvjetima, ovisno o otapalu i vrsti alkil-halogenida.

Abstract (english)

As part of this work, the synthesis of two squaric acid derivatives was performed, through several steps. In the first step, an amination reaction was performed with 4-benzylpyridine as the secondary amine and 1-bromo-3,5-dimethoxybenzene. The next step was to demethylate the tertiary amine to obtain alcohols 2 and 3, which were converted to the desired heteroaromatic derivatives of squaric acid 4 and 5 by the condensation reaction in the presence of squaric acid. In addition to the synthesis of target products a chain of alkylation furfurylamine reactions has been conducted. Purpose of that reaction is to get an adequate secondary amine for the possible future synthesis of squarein. The reactions were carried out under different experimental conditions, depending on the solvent and the type of alkyl halide.
