Abstract

Cilj ovog rada bio je provesti sintezu nanoštapića kositrovog (IV) oksida na tankom filmu i u praškastom obliku. Nanoštapići na tankom filmu dobiveni su u dva koraka, počevši od dobivanja podloge u obliku tankog filma koja sadrži nukleacijske centre SnO2 ključne za daljnji rast nanoštapića. Daljnji rast nanoštapića na tankom filmu, odnosno sinteza istih u praškastom obliku provedena je hidrotermalnom metodom koristeći SnCl4×5H2O kao glavni prekursor. Reakcija je optimizirana ciljanim temperaturnim varijacijama reakcije i promjenom koncentracija kositrovih klorida prilikom priprave podloge te u hidrotermalnim uvjetima. Optička svojstva sintetiziranih uzoraka potvrđena su rendgenskom difrakcijom, morfologija dobivena je AFM-om i SEM-om, dok su optička svojstva praškastog uzorka okarakterizirana FTIR i DRS spektroskopijom te im je izračunata vrijednost energijskog procijepa.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this work was to carry out the synthesis of tin (IV) oxide nanorods in both thin film and powder forms. Thin-film nanorods were obtained in two steps, starting with obtaining a thin-film seed layer containing SnO2 nucleation centres that are necessary for further growth of nanorods. Further growth of nanorods on a thin film was conducted, in the same way as their synthesis in powder form by hydrothermal method using SnCl4×5H2O as the main precursor. The reaction was optimized by intentional temperature variations of the reaction and by changing the concentrations of tin chlorides during the preparation of the substrate and under hydrothermal conditions. The structural properties of the synthesized samples were confirmed by XRD, morphology was exhibited by AFM and SEM microscopy, while the optical properties of the powder sample were characterized by FTIR and DRS spectroscopy and the band gap value was calculated.
