Abstract
U ovom radu prikazan je povijesni pregled cementne industrije. Uz analizu razvoja industrije cementa u Hrvatskoj i njezinog današnjeg stanja, predstavit ćemo i nove izazove sa kojima se cementna industrija susreće. To su ekološki utjecaji, poštivanje propisa i načela održivog razvoja. Potrebno je konstantno usavršavanje tehnologija te ulaganje u procese proizvodnje. Napredne metode i alternativne sirovine mogu doprinijeti lakšoj proizvodnji ili kvalitetnijem proizvodu što u konačnici znači veću ekonomsku dobit i konkurentnost na zahtjevnom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
In this paper historical review of cement industry is shown. By completing analysis of development of cement industry in Croatia, we will also represent new challenges thrown in front of cement industry today, such as ecological issues or following laws and principles of sustainable development. It is necessary to continuously refine the technologies and to invest in the manufacturing process. The development of advanced methods and usage of alternative raw materials can contribute to a simpler manufacturing process and to obtaining a higher quality product. Ultimately, a greater profit and higher competitiveness on a demanding market are achieved.
