Abstract

Polimerni nanokompoziti su relativno novi materijali čija svojstva nisu potpuno ispitana niti dokazana. S obzirom da polimeri izolacijski materijali, za dobivanje vodljivih kompozitnih materijala dodaju im se razna nanopunila od kojih su, za ovaj rad, najbitnije ugljikove nanocjevčice. U ovom završnom radu istraživan je učinak kristalnosti polimera na vodljivost nanokompozita sa ugljikovim nanocjevčicama. No, izneseni su i mnogobrojni drugi parametri koji utječu na vodljivost nanokompozita kao što su učinak temperature, viskoznosti matrice, modifikacije, vrste, usmjerenosti i količine nanocjevčica te učinak načina priprave nanokompozitnih materijala. Rezultati istraživanja izneseni u ovom radu pokazuju da se vodljivost nanokompozita i sa amorfnim i sa kristalastim matricama značajno ovise o svim navedenim parametrima. Prijašnja istraživanja su pokazala da se znatnija poboljšanja vodljivosti mogu postići u nanokompozitima sa amorfnim matricama zbog bliskog položaja CNT-a, što je u kristalastim matricama spriječeno zbog postojanja kristaličnog sloja oko
CNT-a. Ova razmatranja su i potvrđena nekim ispitivanjima iznesenim u ovom radu. Međutim, postoje i pojedine znanstvene spoznaje koje potvrđuju da prisutnost kristalaste matrice u nanokompozitnim materijalima itekako pozitivno djeluje na električnu vodljivost.

Abstract (english)

Polymer nanocomposites are relatively new materials whose properties have not been fully tested or proven. Since insulating nature of polymers, various types of nanofillers are added in polymer matrix in order to obtain conductive composites materials, of which carbon nanotubes are the most important ones for this theme. This Bachelor thesis is about research of the influence of polymer crystallinity on the conductivity of nanocomposites with carbon nanotubes. However, there are many other parameters which affect the conductivity of nanocomposites, such as effect of temperature, matric viscosity, modification, type, alignment and content of carbon nanotubes and also the effect of preparation method of composites. The results from the research presented in this thesis show that the conductivity of nanocomposites with both amorphous and crystalline matrices significantly depends on all the specified parameters. Previous research has shown that significant improvements in conductivity can be achieved in nanocomposites with amorphous matrices due to the close position of the CNT, which is prevented in crystalline matrices due to the existence of a crystalline layer. These considerations are also confirmed by some of the researches presented in this paper. However, there are some scientific findings that confirm that the presence of a crystalline matrix in nanocomposite materials has a very positive effect on electrical conductivity.
