Abstract

Supramolekulska kemija kao jedno od najpopularnijih i najbrže rastućih područja eksperimentalne kemije teži k sintezi novih materijala koji će naći primjenu u medicini, nanotehnologiji, razvoju senzora i mnogih drugih. Mnogobrojne mogućnosti primjene supramolekulske kemije ostvarene su postojanjem nekovalentnih interakcija, između samoorganiziranih i samoudruženih struktura, kao što su vodikove veze, π-π slaganje, elektrostatske interakcije ili Van der Waalsove sile. U ovom radu istraživali smo mogućnost polimerizacije sintetiziranih aminokiselinskih derivata fumarne kiseline. Ti spojevi, aminokiselinski derivati fumarne kiseline, novi su supramolekulski gelatori male molekularne težine koji mogu stvarati gelove s različitim organskim otapalima. Mogućnost polimerizacije ispitana je induciranim gama zrakama u samoorganiziranim gelovima. Reakcija polimerizacije se odvijala u različitim organskim gelovima. Dokazali smo da na samoorganizaciju kroz nekovalentne interakcije znatno utječe polarnost otapala. Gelske samoorganizacije u različitim otapalima karakterizirane su s NMR i FTIR spektroskopijom ovisnom o temperaturi. TEM i SEM mikroskopijom određene su morfologije gelskih mreža i polimera.

Abstract (english)

Supramolecular chemistry as one of the most popular and fastest growing areas of experimental chemistry strive for synthesis of new materials that will find examples in medicine, nanotechnology, sensors and many others. Many possibilities of supramolecular chemistry have been achieved by the existence of noncovalent interactions between selforganized and self-assembled structures such as hydrogen bonds, π- π stacking, electrostatic interactions or Van der Waals forces. In this research, we investigated the possibility of polymerization of the synthesized amino acid derivatives of fumaric acid. These compounds, the amino acid derivatives of fumaric acids, are new low molecular-mass organic gelators that can form gels with various organic solvents. The possibility of polymerization was investigated by induced gamma rays in self-organized gels. The polymerization reaction was carried out in various organic gels. We have proved that self-organization through noncovalent interactions greatly influences the polarity of the solvent. Gels self-organization in various solvents was characterized by NMR and FTIR temperature-dependent spectroscopy. TEM and SEM microscopy were used to determine the morphology of gel networks and polymers.
