Abstract

Aditivna proizvodnja često je popularno nazvana tehnologija 3D-ispisa. Proizvodna je tehnologija temeljena na izradi dodavanjem materijala sloj po sloj prema modelu zadanom u elektroničkom obliku. Ovaj način proizvodnje omogućava izradu proizvoda kompleksne geometrije u relativno kratkom vremenskom roku. Postoji više tehnika aditivne proizvodnje, ali jedna od najpopularnijih i najčešće korištenih je proizvodnja rastaljenim filamentom, FFF (eng. Fused filament fabrication). FFF izrađuje proizvode od filamenta termoplastičnih materijala, taleći ih te pokretnom mlaznicom nanoseći na podlogu sloj po sloj. U ovom radu ispitana su mehanička svojstva nekih od najčešće korištenih materijala za proizvodnju rastaljenim filamentom. Ispitna tijela izrađena su na 3D-pisaču Zortrax M200. Materijali korišteni u ispitivanju su D-ABS, Z-PCABS, Z-ULTRAT, Z-HIPS, D-PET-G i Z-GLASS. Mehanička svojstva ispitana su s obzirom na kut ispisa ispitnih tijela u odnosu na podlogu od 0˚, 45˚ i 90˚, te s obzirom na modele ispitnih tijela različitih oblika i veličina izrađene u CAD (eng. Computer-aided design) obliku prema ISO normama. Također, ispitana je morfologija odabranih ispitnih tijela odabranih na temelju mehaničkih svojstava. Rezultati mehaničkih svojstava dobivenih rasteznim ispitivanjem na kidalici pokazali su da je najbolji kut ispisa 0˚, a najlošiji 90˚, iako u nekim slučajevima dolazi do odstupanja od takvog zaključka. Rezultati ispitivanja različitih modela ispitnih tijela pokazali su relativno usporediva mehanička svojstva, osobito isključujući modele najmanjih dimenzija.

Abstract (english)

Additive manufacturing is often popularly called 3D printing technology. Production technology is based on manufacturing by adding material layer by layer according to the model in electronic form. This mode of manufacturing allows the creation of products of complex geometry in relatively short time span. There are more techniques of additive manufacturing, but the most popular, and most commonly used one is the fused filament fabrication, FFF. FFF manufactures using thermoplastic material filaments, melting them and applying them to the platform with movable nozzle, layer by layer. This study examines mechanical properties of some of the most frequently used materials for fused filament fabrication. The test samples are made on the Zortrax M200 3D printer. Materials used in this study are D-ABS, Z-PCABS, Z-ULTRAT, Z-HIPS, D-PET-G and Z-GLASS. Mechanical properties were tested with regard to the angle of printing the test samples in relation to the print surface of 0˚, 45˚ and 90˚, and with regard of various shapes and sizes of test samples, modeled in CAD (eng. Computer-aided design) program according to ISO standard. Also, morphology of some test samples was investigated. The results of the mechanical properties obtained by the tensile test show that the best print angle is 0˚ and the worst 90˚, although in some cases there is a deviation from such conclusion. Test results of different models of test subjects showed relatively comparable mechanical properties, particularly with the exclusion of the models with smallest dimensions.
