Abstract

U ovom radu napravljen je teorijski prikaz priprave i karakterizacije nanočestica s naglaskom na pripremu CuO nanočestica. Sinteza nanočestica odvija se raznim dugotrajnim i relativno opasnim metodama poput hidrotermalne sinteze, elektronanošenja i refluksne kondenzacije. Eksperimentalni dio rada temelji se na relativno novom načinu sinteze CuO nanočestica u milireaktorima. Prednosti sinteze u milireaktoru u odnosu na klasičnu šaržni postupak su veća brzina dobivanja produkta pri sobnim uvjetima reakcije, bez ekstremnih tlakova i temperatura te kontinuirani način proizvodnje. Sintezom u milireaktoru dobivaju se nanočestice u puno kraćem vremenu zadržavanja, τ od nekoliko minuta. Nedostatak proizvodnje nanočestica CuO u milireaktorima je začepljenje pri molarnim koncentracijama NaOH (c > 1,0 M) uslijed stvaranja velike količine precipitata. Ispitani su uvjeti sinteze u dvije vrste milireaktora s različitim oblikom ulazne sekcije, takozvanim milimiješalerima T i Y oblika. Pogodniji milireaktor za proizvodnju nanočestica je Y oblika jer u njemu dolazi do manjeg začepljenja kanala. Dobivene nanočestice karakterizirane su kvalitativno UV/VIS i FTIR spektroskopskim metodama i uspoređene s literaturnim referencama.

Abstract (english)

This paper provides a theoretical description of the preparation and characterization of nanoparticles with the emphasis on the preparation of CuO nanoparticles. The nanoparticulate synthesis takes place in various long-lasting and relatively dangerous methods such as hydrothermal synthesis, electrochemical application and reflux condensation. The experimental part of the work is based on a relatively new method of synthesis of CuO nanoparticles in milireactors. The advantages of the synthesis in milireactor in comparison to the classical batch procedure are higher speeds of product preparation at room temperature conditions, without extreme pressures and temperatures, as well as continuous production modes. By synthesis in the milireactor, nanoparticles are obtained in a much shorter retention time of several minutes. The lack of production of CuO nanoparticles in milireactors is clogged at molar concentrations of NaOH (c> 1.0 M) due to the formation of a large amount of precipitate. The conditions of synthesis were studied in two types of milireactors with a different form of input sections, so-called T-shaped and Y-shaped milimixers. A more suitable milireactor for the production of nanoparticles is Y-shaped because it has less clogging channels. The obtained nanoparticles were characterized by qualitative UV/VIS and FTIR spectroscopic methods and compared with literary references.
