Abstract

U ovom radu provedena je analiza procesa očvršćivanja poliesterske smole u valjkastom kalupu grijanim zrakom i mineralnim uljem. Praćen je prijenos topline u uzorku smole eksperimentalno te pomoću matematičkog modela. Eksperimentalno se pratila promjena temperature u centru kalupa s vremenom reakcije te se uzorak podvrgnuo mjerenjima u diferencijalnom pretražnom kalorimetru pri dinamičkim i izotermnim uvjetima. Rezultati pretražne kalorimetrije daju nam ukupnu toplinu reakcije te bolji uvid u kinetiku reakcije. Matematički model procesa sastoj se od bilance topline, bilance tvari te kinetičkog modela koji povezuje bilancu topline i bilancu tvari. Navedeni skup diferencijalnih jednadžbi rješava se matematički i uspoređuje s rezultatima dobivenim eksperimentom. Pokazalo se da predloženi matematički model dobro opisuje eksperimentalno izmjerene temperature u centru klupa. Prijenos topline praćen je i infracrvenom termografijom pri čemu je snimana promjena temperature s napredovanjem reakcije i temperaturni gradijent po radijalnom presjekom kalupa. Sve navedene metode daju nam potpuniju sliku procesa očvršćivanja poliesterskih smola što je iznimno korisno prilikom modeliranja procesa izrade proizvoda od poliesterskih smola.

Abstract (english)

The cure of unsaturated polyester was studied by using cylindrical mould heated with hot air and mineral oil. Analysis consist an experimental measurement and mathematical model. Temperature changes in centre of the mould vs. reaction time were experimentally followed and differential scanning calorimeter measurements in dynamic and isothermal conditions were taken. DSC measurements gave us total reaction heat as well as better insight in the reaction kinetics. Mathematical model is consisted of heat and mass balance as well as the kinetic model witch bonds both balance. The named differential equations were solved mathematically and compared with the experimental results. It has been shown that given mathematical model shows good agreement with experimental result. The heat transfer was monitored with IC thermograph where the temperature changes on the surface of the mould and on the radial cut. All mentioned methods give more complete image of the curing process and they are very helpful for modelling of resin production process.
