Abstract
Brzi razvoj graditeljstva i građevnih materijala zbog ubrzanog suvremenog načina života iziskuje razvoj novih tehnologija i spoznaja te potražnju novih materijala. Zbog sve većih zahtjeva i potražnje o ciljanoj namjeni cementa koriste se različiti aditivi koji modificiraju različita svojstva svježeg i očvrsnutog betona. U ovom radu istraživan je utjecaj litijeva karbonata, Li2CO3, na hidrataciju Portland cementa (PC) određivanjem čvrstoće na tlak i topline hidratacije. Ustanovljeno je da litijev karbonat ubrzava hidrataciju alita, a daljnjim je istraživanjima potrebno ustanoviti točan mehanizam djelovanja litijevih soli.
Abstract (english)
The rapid development of construction and building materials due to accelerated modern lifestyle requires the development of new technologies and knowledge that demand new materials. Due to the increasing demands on the specified use of cement, various additives are used which modify various properties of concrete. In this work the effect of lithium carbonate, Li2CO3, on the hydration of Portland cement (PC) had been studied by determining the compressive strength and heat of hydration. It has been found that lithium carbonate accelerates alite hydration, and further research needs to establish the exact mechanism of action of lithium salts.
