Abstract

Aditivna proizvodnja, koja se obično naziva 3D-ispisom, revolucionirala je proizvodnu industriju omogućivši stvaranje kompleksnih trodimenzionalnih objekata procesom dodavanja materijala sloj po sloj. Za razliku od konvencionalnih proizvodnih tehnika koje uključuju uklanjanje materijala za postizanje željenog oblika, aditivna proizvodnja stvara predmete preciznim polaganjem ili skrućivanjem materijala na kontroliran i precizan način. Tehnologije aditivne proizvodnje korištene u ovom radu su stereolitografija (SLA) i digitalna obrada svjetlom (DLP). Jedan od ciljeva ovog rada je istražiti prikladnost različitih materijala koji se koriste u aditivnoj proizvodnji za provođenje fotokemijskih reakcija. Kako bi se to utvrdilo, ispitala su se kemijska svojstva materijala, a materijali su se podvrgnuli testu bubrenja u toluenu. Osim toga, cilj rada bio je i proučiti interakciju reaktanata i produkata fotokemijskih reakcija s različitim materijalima koji se koriste u stereolitografiji (SLA) i digitalnoj obradi svjetlom (DLP). Temeljna hipoteza ovog istraživanja je da se ovi materijali i tehnologije proizvodnje mogu primijeniti za proizvodnju reaktora za provođenje fotokemijskih reakcija.
Za izradu modela reaktora korišten je CAD program Fusion 360. Fotokemijske reakcije su provedene u fotokemijskim reaktorima s definiranim vremenom zadržavanja. Za utvrđivanje prisutnosti produkata u konačnim uzorcima nakon reakcije korištena je tankoslojna kromatografija. Tekućinska kromatografija s ultra visokom učinkovitosi je provedena kako bi se potvrdila prisutnost produkata, dok je analiza infracrvenom spektroskopijom provedena kako bi se ispitala mogućnost promjena u molekulskoj strukturi produkata. Rezultati ispitivanja kemijskih svojstava pokazuju da su smole korištene u SLA i DLP tehnologiji najprikladniji materijali za provođenje ove fotokemijske reakcije. Nadalje, potvrđeno je da su fotokemijske reakcije uspješno provedene unutar 3D-ispisanih reaktora s različitim iskorištenjima u različitim varijantama reaktora.

Abstract (english)

Additive manufacturing, commonly referred to as 3D printing, has revolutionized the manufacturing industry by enabling the creation of intricate three-dimensional objects through a layer-by-layer material addition process. In contrast to conventional subtractive manufacturing techniques that involve removing material to achieve the desired shape, additive manufacturing constructs objects by precisely depositing or solidifying material in a controlled and precise manner. The technologies used in this study are stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP). One of the objectives is to explore the suitability of various materials used in additive manufacturing for conducting photochemical reactions.
To determine this, the focus was on the chemical properties, and the materials were subjected to a swelling process using toluene. This study aims to explore photochemical reactions and their interaction with different materials utilized in stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP). The core hypothesis of this research is that these materials have the potential to serve as reactors for conducting photochemical reactions. For the creation of reactors, the Fusion 360 CAD program was used. The photochemical reactions were conducted in a photochemical reactor with a predefined retention time. To assess the presence of products in the post-reaction samples, thin-layer chromatography was used. UHPLC analysis was performed to confirm the presence of products, while IR analysis was conducted to observe any potential changes in the molecular structure of the products.
The test results show that resins used for SLA and DLP technologies are the most suitable materials for conducting photochemical reactions. Furthermore, the study determined that photochemical reactions were successfully conducted within 3D printed reactors, but with different yields in different reactor variants.
