Abstract

Ovaj završni rad istražuje ključne aspekte kontinuiranih slučajnih varijabli i njihove primjene u statistici i inženjerstvu. Fokus je stavljen na analizu normalne distribucije, funkcije gustoće i distribucije vjerojatnosti te njihovu primjenu u različitim kontekstima. Osim toga, rad se bavi eksponencijalnom i beta distribucijom, objašnjavajući njihove karakteristike i praktične primjere uporabe. Posebna pažnja posvećena je primjeni ovih distribucija kroz konkretne primjere, čime se ilustrira njihova upotreba u stvarnim situacijama. Kroz detaljnu analizu i grafičke prikaze, rad doprinosi dubljem razumijevanju i korištenju ovih statističkih metoda.

Abstract (english)

This thesis explores the key aspects of continuous random variables and their applications in statistics and engineering. The focus is on the analysis of normal distribution, probability density, and distribution functions, along with their applications in various contexts. Additionally, the thesis covers the exponential and beta distributions, explaining their characteristics and practical examples of usage. Special attention is given to the practical applications of these distributions through specific examples, illustrating their use in real-world situations. Through detailed analysis and graphical representations, the thesis contributes to a deeper understanding and utilization of these statistical methods.
