Abstract

U ovom radu prikazana je izrada laboratorijskog cijevnog elektrostatskog filtera jednostavne izvedbe. Uključen je literaturni pregled osnova elektrostatske precipitacije i mjerenja masenog protoka plina te opis ispitivanja elektrofiltera definiranih dimenzija. Uspješnost rada uređaja ocjenjuje se masom prikupljenih čestica i sigurnim načinom rada. Provedena ispitivanja uključuju karakterizaciju praškastog sustava čestica, određivanje kritičnog napona, mjerenja masenog protoka struje zraka te vaganje mase pojedinih dijelova aparature. Tijekom cijele izrade naglasak je stavljen na lako sastavljanje i rastavljanje cijelog uređaja i ponovljivost mjerenja. Prijedlozi za daljnja istraživanja odnose se na dizajn uređaja, protok ulazne struje plina i uvjete rada u budućim primjenama ovakve vrste pročišćivača.

Abstract (english)

Simple tubular electrofilter setup is presented in this paper. A literature review of general knowledge of an electrostatic precipitation process and measurements of a gas mass flow are included, as well as characterization of an electrofilter with defined dimensions. The performance of the device is evaluated by the mass of collected particles and the safe mode of operation. Conducted measurements include the characterization of the particular powder system, the determination of the critical voltage, mass flow measurement of the inlet air and verification of mass balance by weighing parts of the apparatus. Emphasis is placed on a flexibility of the whole system and the possibility of repeating the results in future designs of the device. Suggestions for further research relate to design changes, inlet flow of the gas and operating conditions in future applications of this type of purifier.
